Proud to Honor one of our Own: Linda Warnock as Zonta Woman of the Year

It is with great honor that we recognize Linda Warnock as the Zonta Woman of the Year for 2016.  Ms. Warnock is a licensed CPA, working as a Controller for Dunes Real Estate.  Linda is the perfect blend of the model humanitarian in her community and the consumate professional in her career.  The mindset of "other before self" is actually more of a beacon that guides Linda's approach to any circumstance she may encounter.  Those who have had the privelege of an encounter with Linda are more likely to find themselves as the beneficiary in the relationship, especially surrounding circumstances of support, service or deed.  When Linda discovers someone is in need or finds a particular group that could use her help, she jumps right in without hesitation and does whatever needs to be done.

Linda has volunteered her time and talents to the following organizations:

Bike Safety Education Chairperson for the Town of Hilton Head Island Advisory Committee (2013-Present), Creator of the Bicycling Elf Delivery program (2011-Present), Planning Committee Member of the World Affairs Council (2015-Present), Education Chairperson for Kicken' Asphalt Bicycle Club (2012-Present), Past President and member of the Zonta Club of Hilton Head Island (2003-Present), Instructor for the League of American Bicyclists (2015-Present), Volunteer for the Pedal4Kids Boys and Girls Club Annual Community Bike Ride (2015-Present) and Club Liaison for the Hilton Head Island High School Z-Club (2016-Present)

If there is a charitable contribution to be made or a company initiative to be pursued, you can bet that Linda is going to lead the charge!

Conrgartulations Linda!  You are an inspiration to many!
